Setup in five steps.
Fifteen minutes, start to finish. This is the real order, and doing it this way avoids almost every setup question we get.
STEP 1 · 2 MINUTES
Download the app and create your account
Get the MitoCollar™ app from the App Store or Google Play. Allow Bluetooth when it asks; the collar needs it. Confirm your email and you’re in.
STEP 2 · 3 MINUTES
Activate your membership and register your collar
Choose monthly or annual, then scan the QR code on the back of the module (or type the serial number; it’s case sensitive). One membership activates one collar, and activation is immediate.
STEP 3 · 2 MINUTES
Turn it on and pair it
The module arrives charged. Press the power button once to turn it on, then hold it for 3 seconds to put it in pairing mode (the light blinks blue). In the app, tap + Add Device, then Pair Device. Always pair inside the app, not from your phone’s Bluetooth settings. You only pair once.
STEP 4 · 1 MINUTE
Slide the module into the collar
Face the MitoCollar emblem on the module toward the same side as the power button, so the laser windows line up with the collar’s openings. Slide the left side in, pull back the silicone on the right, and push it fully home.
STEP 5 · 2 MINUTES
Fit it and start the first session
Module low on the neck, on the underside, with room for two fingers. Tap Start. The app sets the session length for your pet’s size and weight and shuts the collar off on its own.

Then it just becomes part of the day.
Some owners notice a change within days. For others it’s several weeks of daily sessions. Results vary, and that’s normal. What you’re watching for is the dog you remember showing up more often.

The app picks the length. Your pet can nap, eat, or play through it.

Water-resistant, not waterproof
Rain and drool are fine. Take it off for baths and swimming.
If it won’t connect, run through these.
Pair inside the app, not from your phone’s Bluetooth settings
Bluetooth on, phone within 30 feet, then Add Device → Pair Device in the MitoCollar app. If the collar shows up in your phone’s Bluetooth list, forget it there and pair in the app.
Give the app Bluetooth access
In your phone’s Settings, open the MitoCollar app and make sure Bluetooth is allowed.
Can’t see the Start Pairing button?
Your phone’s text size is set too large and it’s pushing the button off screen. Lower it in your display settings and reopen the app.
“No active membership” or “Poor network connection”
The collar needs an active membership to connect, and the app needs internet to check it. Make sure the membership is activated, the serial you registered matches the one on the back of the module, and your phone is online.
The blue light blinks for a few seconds then goes solid or stops
That’s not pairing mode. Press the button once to wake it, then hold 3–5 seconds until it blinks blue and keeps blinking.
Still nothing? Do a full reset
Hold the power button 15–20 seconds to shut the collar down. Wait 3–5 seconds, press once to turn it on, then hold 3–5 seconds until the pairing light comes on.

Questions buyers ask
Does it work for cats?
Yes. MitoCollar™ is designed for cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and coat types.
Is it an LED like the cheap ones?
No. MitoCollar™ uses coherent, collimated laser light, which stays focused through fur and skin. LED light scatters quickly.
Can my pet move during a session?
Yes. Normal movement is fine. It works whether your pet is resting, walking, or playing.
What if she has long or thick fur?
It still works. The laser’s output was chosen so enough light passes through fur and skin.
What’s the return policy?
Returns for a refund can be requested within 30 days of delivery; the device must be unused and in its original packaging, and a $25 restocking fee applies. Defects are covered separately by the 12-month limited warranty. Full policy.
Can one collar be used on two dogs?
Each collar is set up on one pet’s profile so its protocols and history stay with that pet. It works on another dog, but to give a second dog its own profile you’ll want a second collar, or you can move the collar to the other profile in the app.
